Heart, we will forget him
Heart, we will forget him,
You and I, tonight!
You must forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light. When you have done pray tell me,
Then I, my thoughts, will dim.
Haste! ‘lest while you’re lagging
I may remember him!(Emily Dickinson)

I’m always on the look for heart shaped or heart painted objects that don’t look too girly or valentiney, and this is a beautiful find on this theme.
British designer Anna James took her inspiration for this wardrobe during a visit to Giulietta’s House in Verona, where people leave their love messages on the wall. She took high resolution digital pictures of the graffiti, and reproduced them on period furniture like this wardrobe. Since graffiti keep changing, each piece of furniture is unique.
I’d love to have this wardrobe – if I had the money to buy it and the space to put it in, I mean – because every time I look at it I would have a reminder of people who love each other… besides being full of hearts, of course!

From 24 to 26 September 2008, thousands of creative minds from all over the world will come together in Amsterdam for the third PICNIC.
Shall I add something to this tagline? I’d just LOVE to be there – not sure if i’d match at all, but sure I would come home with plenty of new ideas to keep in my drawer until small Giovanni grows up!
Moreover, they’ve got a heart-themed logo, which appeals to me even more!

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)
i fear
no fate (for you are my fate,my sweet) i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is youhere is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars aparti carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

Hi there! I am back – typing from my new iMac, something I love already and will get to love even more as soon as I have all my old software installed as well. But there’s something else I’d love to talk to you about today: MomSpit.
Sure no detergent, water, napking or cleansing towel has the fuel of love of this unique cleansing solution we all experimented when we were kids: Mom’s spit. Starting from this thought two “Chief Executive Moms” started their new company that produces and sells no-rinse detergents that can be used anywhere, like the original one indeed!
I loved their simple website – no gross jokes, anywhere – and the idea behind their product too. It all seems made with true love, in every drop.
Needless to say, I love their brand too, the simple logo with a small heart.
